Greetings!
Many of you knew I was in India
and sent energy to the Maha Kumbha Mela through me. Many also knew I was there during the earthquake and wondered what happened and if I was ok. Hense this little letter.
For those of you that weren't familiar, the Maha Kumbha Mela took place last January and February
2001 in Allahabad, India. This gathering happens once every 144 years and is when the ascetics and gurus come down from their caves. It is also a time of great spiritual awakening when people from all over the world (80 million this year)come together to do spiritual practices. It was phrophesied, that if enough spiritual energy was generated during the Kumbha Mela, the earth would leave the Kali or dark age to enter the age of peace.
I was with the Himalaya Institute, a group of about 600 on grounds at the edge of the Mela. We had activities there, and could do our own practices, go into the Mela, and also take spiritual excursion trips. Highlights were meeting and shaking hands with the Dali Llama at the Mela and meeting the great grandson of Lahiri Mahashay (Yogananda's guru's guru) in Benares (the holy city of India.)
I was in bed when I felt the quake. We were far away, yet close enough to feel its shaking. It felt like it shook up the inner bodies of not only me, but our planet. With
Saturn in Taurus, it's been a time of challenges on how we deal with every thing of the earth. In India the land changed and a whole new river formed. In our lives we are being touched by new currents of energy. How we deal with these energies affects not only our future, but the planet's as well.
I'm not alone in feeling there will be many more earthquakes and that the earth is going through a major change. It is a time to be aware of the inner and not be too busy on the outer so we can feel, be present with the changes, and know what to do.
Since returning to Mt. Shasta, and reflecting on the earth and times we are in, it felt right to do a weekend in October just concentrating on bringing healing energy into the earth. For any of you who can come, it feels like it will be very powerful and the fullfillment of a vision I've had for years. That is that in the times ahead, great groups would come together with intent for healing the earth and miracles would occur! And of course you can join us on the inner as many of you have done and are doing and for which I am very grateful!
