"This music cleans and clears my body, mind and soul! The crashing of waves in
track #1, Gateway, put all levels of my self on notice that attention and healing is imminent. The music gently moves my mind through nothing less than a frequency change, if you will. The "Waters of Remembrance," tract 4, pulls my heart and soul over old hurts and joys and new feelings are the watershed.
Track #5, "Lake of Enchantment," allows me to wander back to what may have been dreams during childhood when I reclined by a stream, singing and playing with fairies and dancing elves.
Track #6, "Spirit of the Healing Waters" plucks at my heart strings to intensify emotions and calm stresses. By the last song, "Lotus Reflection" this old favorite renews every cell in all of me. I am refreshed and renewed and revitalized each time I place this CD into play."

"Among music for relaxation, there are
some greatly appreciated for their perfect adaption to the structure of a certain type of
session. Some others for their sounds and particular hypnotic qualities. Finally, others
appear extraordinarily soothing. This is the case of "Harp of the Healing
Waters" for which the title is well deserved. This can honestly be considered as one
of the most relaxing and rejuvenating recordings available on the market today. Erik
Berglund is accompanied here with the flute and a cello, which reinforce again, if it is
necessary, the soothing already offered by the magic sound waves of the harp, as a spring
of sound waters."
~La Vie Naturelle
"The mystical healing properties of our oceans, lakes, wishing
wells and other sources of water's therapy are celebrated in this series of seven
compositions. Berglund and Paul Avegerinos use synthesizers to create the soothing sounds
of strings, flute, cello and a variety of other special effects which augment the harp's
purifying and nurturing melodies. Glissandos and plucked statements of peace and energy
reflect Berglund's impressionistic titles: Gateway, Wishing Well, Sea of Dreams, Waters of
Remembrance, Lake of Enchantment, Spirit of the Healing Waters, and Lotus Reflection.
Each reflects a different side of Berglund's combination of musical studies and spiritual
discipline. Perfect for relaxing, for massage and meditation, for establishing a peaceful
mood. For embracing the purity and power of nature's waters, Earth's pre-eminent property.
Berglund is of Norwegian descent, was raised in an artistic home in Minnesota, and studied
in New York with Mildred Dilling, who developed the Celtic harp he plays. Each of these
albums gives the listener an idea of the wide range of musical charms that come from
placing the instrument into gifted hands."

"In every age of human history, the harp has been considered
the most heavenly of instruments, the bringer of peace and healing. Of all the New Age
artists seeking to evoke these qualities, no one has succeeded quite so well as Erik
Berglund does with Harp of the Healing Waters. The quintessential harp album, music for
peace and dreams."

" Although natural sounds, cellos and
digital effects are included, the predominate sound here is that of the beautifully toned
Douglas Irish harp. Rarely have I heard this instrument played to better effect."

"Accompanied at times by the sounds of a flowing brook or
rainfall, this harp music has the simple beauty and healing caress of flowing water.
Erik's background in sacred music is evident in the chant or hymn like quality of his
simple, repeated melodies. Superbly crafted, gentle synthesizer accompaniment flows in and
out throughout, with occasional use of brass chimes, a gong, and flute. Generous use of
reverb and echo (delay) on the harp gives a spacious, drifting quality.
"Gateway" opens side 1 with an ancient, Gregorian chant harp melody. A repeated
deep gong and glowing chimes, "Wishing Well" is a gentle hymn repeated in
different octaves with varying synth accompaniment. "Sea of Dreams" offers a
simple, dreamy melody repeated to the sound of forest rainfall. Harp harmonics and synth
chimes create bell tones that awaken deep "Water of Remembrance." Side 2 is more
serene and meditative. "Spirit of the Healing Waters," a solo harp piece,
features Erik's sensitivity, dynamics and angelic touch. "Lotus Reflection,"
opens with gentle, caressing harp and chime glissandos and long flute and synth tones to
create a floating feeling. Recommended."

"Erik Berglund's harp creates an environment of peace and healing.
Each one of the seven tracks on "Harp of the Healing Waters" deals with the
water element as a metaphor for the purifying aspect of nature. In "Sea of
Dreams" we hear the sound of distant thunder and light rain falling in a forest,
while the harp's high pitched strings convey the image of raindrops falling on to the
water's surface. "Waters of Remembrance" has the quality of an ancient Celtic
aire, but employs modern recording studio magic to give the harp a remarkable depth and
reverberation. My favorite track, however, is "Lake of Enchantment." This
haunting piece interweaves Erik's gentle touch on the harp strings with angelic
synthesizer chords and counter melodies to create an aura of profound inner stillness.
"Harp of the Healing Waters" and "Love in the Wind" by Aeoliah are
wonderful albums from two beautiful people. Their music is perfect for massage,
meditation, or just losing your daily cares in its timeless, soothing qualities. As
always, it is great to hear new recordings from these old friends and I look forward to
even more in the future. I couldn't help but think of that aphorism and of how these new
albums compliment each other so perfectly. Perhaps one reason is that Aeoliah and Erik
Berglund are close friends and make guest appearance on each others' albums; but more
importantly these two sensitive artists have walked the spiritual path and have touched
the source of all beauty, which lies deep within."
