Hilda's Past lesson:II

Our egos have a life of their own. By practicing easy disciplines, we can put it in its place to allow the greater God part of ourselves to act through us. So this month when someone tells a story, rather than thinking and saying a better story of our own, we practice Hilda's sacred mantra: KYBMS. (keep your big mouth shut). We already know what we know, and by practicing KYBMS, we might learn something new, and we become masters of our ego, rather than letting it become our master.

Words from Ishmahtala from Hilda's The Golden Quest

Faith is but the acknowledgement that God in all His abundance, all His goodness, is ever-present, all-powerful. Lack of Faith is turning the mind, the heart and the soul away from God, disbelieving in the kindness of His Loving Hand that moves in mysterious ways its wonder to perform. Faith is a force that releases the latent genius within each soul. All is possible with Faith, for through it you have tapped the Source of sources.

You speak of faith in God and yet you so often have such doubts and despair about your abilities. Why dost thou so quickly forget who thou art? Thou art the selfsame God who dwells and has His being in thee. If He is all-powerful, then thou art also powerful. Know thyself. Be thyself in every thought and word and action. I CAN, I WILL, I AM opens up the gates to the source of all Wisdom, all Love, all Strength and Will Power.

I can't! I don't know! I'm not able! clamp down the heavy bar across the door of attainment. Then despair puts the final lock into place and the seeker finds himself of herself outside the storehouse of God's gifts, cold and desolate, a beggar on the streets of life -- asking the alms of Truth from every passer-by coming in the form of books, lecturers and teachers. Such a person tramps from one to another, gleaning little half-truths to still the hunger qualms within. What grief and bitterness ensue. What sadness to be ever-striving, yearning, seeking, blindly getting to the very door of wisdom, then locking oneself outside with onešs own mind.

Faith can open all the closed doors and let you bathe in the Light of Love. Oh, to have faith, the consciousness of the perfect action of the law, belief in some unseen Power that showers blessings on the Earth.

What foolish beings to be always dwelling in fear, in doubts and worries. See with God's All-Seeing Eye the Plan of Plans by opening up thy minds. Thou art ever wending upwards to greater and greater heights, so why live in constant apprehension of lack? Open up thy minds with Faith and see the blessings that shall be added unto thee.

Too oft in thy lack of vision thou has judged thy body as thyself, thy mind as the reality, the creator of all. Nay, thou art sorely wrong. They are but an expression of the All. Thou canst not realize thyself and still have doubts.

Purge thyself of all doubts. Let Divine Action come forth and live a life impregnated by God's Supreme Essence. Know thyself, and be true unto thyself.
